3 easy steps to link PAN card with Aadhar card if you don’t want your PAN card to expire after 30 June 2017.
As per latest circular released by Government on Wednesday, 28 June 2017. Now it is mandatory to link your PAN with Aadhar card. This is one of the steps by the government to control corruption and black money, as this will help the government to check instance of multiple PANs.
3 Easy Steps To Link PAN Card with Aadhar Card:
Linking your Pan card to Aadhar is very easy and it will take hardly 5 minutes. Below are the steps you can follow to link both cards.
For this, you need to have your PAN card and Aadhar card details with you.
Type Income tax in search bar,
Click on Income tax link >> https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/.
You can find “Link Aadhar” option in the home page, click on that.
Small window will open,
Fill all the information like PAN number, Aadhar number, Name as per Adhar, don’t forget to click on check box if the only birth year is mentioned on Aadhar card and enter correct code and then click on submit button.
After submitting details you will receive a confirmation message for linking of your cards.
In case, If your name on Aadhar and PAN card is not matching then you need to provide the mobile number as registered in Aadhar card to get OTP for verifying your details.
